Service Description

We'll spend the day doing some relaxing, mindful stitching using a range of embroidery stitches and experimenting with different types of thread and I'll show you some lovely traditional examples of hand embroidery as well as some different projects that you can try. There will be basic materials such as calico and embroidery threads for you to use but you might like to bring your own sewing kit. There will be some linen and denim fabric to buy at a small cost. If you have any old denim jeans that you're happy to cut up bring them with you! Denim is such a lovely fabric to work on. Also if you have a project in mind you can bring some of your own fabric to experiment with or get started on too! If you like to work with an embroidery hoop I would recommend bringing that with you too.
